Love is such a wonderful thing that when shared by two people, the feelings become mutual and the gratifications achieved. All of these are established during the start of dating.
Meeting someone who touches you like no other, you have that irrepressible feeling of knowing without a doubt that you want to be with this person for the foreseeable future. You take the plunge, hope for the best and work to validate your initial instincts.
However, when two people are already mutual with regards to their feelings, there are instances that one of them would ask if their mate is the right person for them. They can feel that they are happy as of the moment but when the concept of finding the right person sinks in; a lot of questions take place.
Do you know, being “in love” does not mean you have found “the one.?
If you are a loving person, there’s every chance that you are capable of loving lots of people in their lifetimes. You are likely to find many people pleasant, agreeable, exciting, and enjoyable. That doesn’t mean you need to marry any of these people.
Knowing you have met the right person is more easier to tell when you have the wrong partner, but we know how we often ignore red flags and hope for the best anyway. Sometimes right partners can turn into wrong ones with time, but wrong ones don’t turn into right ones. The sad news is this, until you do meet that one, every relationship feels like the right one, right up until the moment it all falls down around your ears, because you have nothing to compare it to, and you tell yourself that your dreams are unrealistic, and that relationships are inevitably a compromise.
will agree with me that dating is mainly the primary selection ground for
people who wish to end up with somebody they can grow old with. It provides
them the means to find the right person whom they can share their sentiments,
their feelings, problems, etc.
Normally, the stages of dating illustrate continuous experiences. As the couple proceeds on the next level, they get to know another chapter in their mate’s life. In the process of doing that, one should realize that accepting somebody should never be conditional. This means that when a person accepts someone who has qualities not included in his or her concept of an ideal mate, he or she should not pose some conditions or expects something regarding future changes.
So how can I know I have met the right one?
People will tell you, there is no two way about it, when you meet the right one, you will definitely know but do you know sometimes. Some people will go as far as putting a standard. If he/she measures up to my standard, then he/she is the one but do you know that sometimes adrenaline, oxytocin and dopamine will mess with your logic and pull down your set standard?
Even if everything seems to be in perfect condition and that dates are always pleasurable and gratifying, no one can be sure if his or her mate is the right person unless he or she will make extra effort to analyze the situation and the person he or she is currently involved with.
So how do I know he/she is the one?
- Assess your feelings about the other person: you should try and identify those every day qualities with the person, I mean those qualities which the concerned individual has to deal with. If you like what you are seeing or if they can tolerate the personality of the other person. In the event that the other person has some qualities that are not that desirable, it would be better for the individual to be sure they can withstand and endure those things even if it will not change, chances are they have found the right person. The other person may not literally be righteous but the fact that the concerned individual can accept whatever the other person is, then, it must be love.
- When you accept the other person’s faults or shortcomings not because of some hopes that someday he or she will change, then you have met the right one. In the event where you have nagging alarm bells, I’d advise you listen to your gut, because sometimes its wiser than the rest of you. If you feel uncomfortable about some of their views or behavior, but you keep telling yourself it’s nothing and they are lovely really, then step back and think clearly because it might be a sign of a cruel streak that won’t be obvious until much later.
If they are unkind to other people but treat you well, then consider that one day those weapons might be turned on you yourself. Conversely, if you have no doubts or concerns, and would trust this person to do the right thing as much as you trust yourself, that’s a good sign you have found the right one.
- If there are no obstacles that will in time kill the flame of love, then, it must be the right person: When you meet someone and you feel that the relationship is finally the real thing, it would still be better to assess if there will be no more impediments that would curb the growth of a wonderful relationship. You check to make sure that there will be no elements or factors that will trigger some problems in the relationship in the future like vices, addiction, family problems, previous relationships, etc. if your list check, I think you have finally found his or her right mate and that in time the relationship will flourish and be successful.
- When you work well together as partners and you get along well enough and are loving and kind to each other (and are red flag free), you feel it down to your bones with absolute certainty that Every last bit of your body and soul wants them forever. Every fiber of your being screams “Yes! This one!” trust me; you will have no doubt in your mind that you have met the right one.
of these points boils down to the fact
that love is not 100% perfect. People should realize that there are no such
things as perfect people. As humans, people are susceptible to mistakes,
imperfections, flaws, and whatever weaknesses man is destined to entail in his
or her personality.
When two people look at each other and their faces light up, that light that glows only when they are together is a reflection of we are in our heart’s home, where we belong. If you’ve found someone who loves you so unconditionally, never let her go.
Remember, you would never find someone who loves you as much as her
When you meet that someone who never gave up on you even though you ran from them thousands of times they always keep fighting for you.
