Easy Tips to Have Happy Relationships

Have you ever dreamed of having a magic to make your love last longer?

If there is a magic, love will be all around, no more sorrow. Or maybe some people learn secrets of a successful relationship from their parents, grandparents or other relatives or friends. Don’t you think so?

There are several way to be happy in your relationship and i will show you some simple steps which you may think are not relevant to having a happy relationship.

Well, the first step to be happy in a relationship is; you have to be ready for a relationship, and you have to start out with the right person. you don’t just go picking anybody available (even though sometimes it turns out great) simply because you want a relationship.

A guy once asked me out sometime way-back and i accepted to date him. he was happy but when i got home that day, i asked myself; What are you doing? i texted him immediately that i was no longer interested. He asked why and my reason was simple; I was not ready for a relationship. The truth is, i did not feel any connection between us, and if i had forged ahead with the relationship, we will both be miserable in it.

A relationship is based on a special connection between two compatible souls; this requires a careful mix of understanding, trust and care. It should be between equals. You should both feel that you want the best for the other person. And you should truly be happy for them when something positive happens. You should both care enough to support each other in any situation.

You will agree with me that, a healthy relationship is a happy relationship.  Therefore; to keep a relationship healthy, both partners should be understand the ups & downs of their lovable partners, you should know & accommodate as much as you can to your partner’s faults & perfections.

Everyone wants a happy relationship no doubt but do you know being happy with self makes a relationship happy?  You are not responsible for their happiness and they are responsible for yours. You both are responsible for BEING happy and sharing in each other’s happiness.

The other thing is you need a strong shield of mutual trust that covers all aspects of your relationship in all its forms. That means no secrets, skeletons in the closet or white lies no matter what.

Are you still thinking of how to be happy in your relationship? Here are some tried and true simple ideas from people who have enjoyed long, happy relationships, try them to keep your relationship with your special person longer;

Dates: Keep dating each other, even if life seems too busy, meet at the end of the evening for something light and easy, like viewing your favorite soap (record it if necessary) together or playing a video game.

Space: Give each other some space. Either you trust or you don’t. Get on with life, though. People need time alone and time with their mates and other friends. Be sure to give and take your fair share of space.

Forget: No need to “always” remember the bad things that happened during an argument. Actively “forget” sometimes. Be the first to apologize and make up. Go for it! I have a friend would always tell me;

Lets settle this argument now so we can still have time to have another argument because it will definitely happen.

Which is true. There will always be quarrels and argument but your ability to forgive say a lot about the relationship.

Fun:  Couple tends to have fun on dates, then get married and too serious. Lighten up. Head to Yahoo Games and join in any number of card or other games. Or head to a local rental shop and rent an Xbox or other game player and some games.

Disagree: Agree that it’s okay to disagree on some issues, and leave it at that. No need to create a new religion or political movement just to appease both of you. You don’t have to agree on everything. And you won’t. And that’s okay.

Refresh: Take time to look back, refresh your memories and share what brought you together. Especially when times are difficult, lean back and rely on these old memories as your foundation and glue yourselves back together with them (not literally, of course!)

Make some good memories together:  Enjoy special moments, special anniversary dates and events. No need to be elaborate. For example, maybe you enjoyed watching a hot air balloon race one spring day. The next year, you might schedule time to watch it again. Make it an annual event. Collect postcards with balloons on the, playing cards, toss pillows…over time it becomes a theme.
